Stone Oak forest, oneberries, flutes, and sealed portals. Finding the place will be nothing short of a miracle.
Before you leave, it's worth taking something you can trap the fairy in. ?
You'll also need Geron's flute that he keeps downstairs. ?
The cage on the far left side of the attic will do nicely.
It's inside of the clothes box near the bed.
From the street outside of Geron's house take a left through the archway.
The fairy won't reveal herself until we are a 'friend of the forest'.
Geron doesn't seem very good at making friends socially, so we'll have to make some... physically.
It means you need to start looking around for a woodland critter, and something they could have stuck to them that would make them 'special'.
Deeply sad, yes, but necessary. You're looking for three things:
1 - A woodland critter. 2 - Bait that lures them into the trap. 3 - Something forest-y to make them special.
Trying to interact with the pile of leaves reveals a hedgehog.
If you're not sure what they eat, read the quickhint. ?
They have quite an appetite for snails.
The snail on the nearby rocks can be put into the cage; it's too far to lure the hedgehog, though.
You can pick up the trap and bring it to the leaf pile.
The chestnut twigs near the tree can be picked up to recieve chestnuts; a hedgehog covered in chestnuts would be quite cool.
Unfortunately, you can't stick them to the 'hog directly - try to pick up the trap, and see the quickhint for the final nudge.
Use the chestnuts on the hedgehog spines to create your very own 'forest friend', then show it to the tree.
Three cheers for friendship!
