Whew, finally in control of our extremities again - we can't just leave, though.

Why not?

The horrible dark-fairy things are literally RIGHT OUTSIDE, that's why!
We need to leave some kind of trap for them to wander into.

What do you suggest?

The trapdoor is a classic - and would be quite funny.

What do I need?

Honestly, you should take advantage of your hands being usable again and just grab everything.

Can I get a list?

1 - The twin saw that freed our feet (middle) 2 - The fetters that had us tied up (middle) 3 - Straw (right side) 4 - All of our pre-kidnapped stuff (right side)

What do I do with this?

Try to open the trapdoor and make it look like it's closed - the objective is to make the creature fall down there.

Where should I start?

Getting it open would be a good idea, but the handle is broken off.

Not again!

This isn't the typical 'needs a solid stick' puzzle - there's a hole we could loop something through to get the trapdoor open.

Like what?

Something long and cylindrical.
Rope!

What's next?

Concealing the hole.
Think of something you'd use to cover things to make them warm.
The blanket!

Hmmm...

The blanket's sagging - we need something to pin it to the ground on the other side.
Something sharp.
The knife!

What's next?

Nuri rightfully pointed out that they may be able to see in the dark - we need to use something that will make this look natural.
Preferably something that was already in the mill.
The straw!
