In long - The 'hermit' on the platform above can control time, as the direction of his sigh determines what time it is.

Here's the plan - the hermit turns whenever he smells nice things, and the direction he faces determines what time it is.
The statue is currently off limits while it's being painted, so if we turn time forward, that'll see that the painting work is completed quickly and the statue will become accessible again.
Where will I find something that smells nice?
We already have something that smells nice - honey!
You can put it on the directional stones around the hermit - you'll find him by going through the archway next to the queen.
Which stone do I need to put it on?
The one representing the best direction, of course - West.
What now?
The statue is now accessible, and there's a pot of red paint here - exactly what we need.
Geron won't pick it up for some reason, though; we need to find a brush.
