Where should I start?

Chapter 3 gives you far more areas to explore - you should look for Pete's house to ask him about the core.

Where does Pete live?

From your starting point of the ship, follow this path: Down (To the overlook) Left (To the path) Left (To the welcome sign) Left (To the town square) Up (To the monument)

Right (To the four-way fork) Up (To Pete's mansion)

If Dexter is refusing to go there, speak to the man in a taco costume.

What now?

Pete lives here, so it'd be good to get confirmation that he does, in fact, have a Vreesian power core.

Use the intercom to speak to him.

Hmmm...

He has a power core, that much is certain. We just need to get around the dog.
