.. How do I get people to leave their spots?

There isn't a reliable, works-every-time way to get anybody out of the way. However, everyone has vulnerable moments.

Note that none of these will work until the game (or maybe Nancy) thinks the time is right. If you have a goal that requires the person to be gone but Nancy won't ask the right questions, go work on something else for now and come back to the first goal later.
