If you play with the ropes by the exit once, Grigor tells you not to. If you ignore him and do it again --
Hint 2
-- well, he did tell you not to, didn't he? Go do something else for a while -- this would be an ideal time to check out Xenia's area -- and when come back, Grigor has returned and tells you to fix the flies. Read to the end of this hint for the way to do this.
Hint 3
Grigor said you should read his tablet for instructions on how to fix them, but all it says is that the weights are in Xenia's script. If you don't have it, go get it.
On page 2 of Xenia's script, you'll see how each rope in the fly system should be weighted. Under the ropes of the fly system are a bunch of weights. So this is just a math problem, right?
Hint 5
Wrong! For some reason, Xenia's names for the ropes are different from the labels on the ropes themselves. To translate from her notes to the labels, you'll need the resource you used to create the temples in the museum, which is called "Temple Sketch" in your inventory.
Now you just have to put the weights in the slots under the ropes on the ropes so they weigh what Xenia's notes said they should. Watch the readout on each ropes to see how much weight you've added so far.
Hint 8
You'll need to plan this some, since you don't have unlimited numbers of each size of weight.
Hint 9
Start with the flies that require the most weights, then work your way down to the smallest ones.
Hint 10
If you're doing the master version of this puzzle, you might want to have a calculator handy. I'm not good at adding 14 and 28 in my head, personally.
Hint 11
There may be other ways to do this, but here's how I did it:
