Breaking the puzzle2 hints left
It may look like a puzzle that's impossible to fail, but you can trigger some unique dialogue if you manage to dissolve the cube.

How do I accomplish that?

Drag the cube against the wall so that it's slightly tilted, then position it against the door as seen below. Save the game, then stand on the button for a second to open the door - when you get off the button, the cube will get stuck between the doors.

Stand on the button again, and if you're lucky, the cube will touch the emancipation grid and trigger the unique dialogue. If it gets stuck in the corridor behind the door, however, nothing will happen and you'll have to load your save.

What is the unique dialogue?

"Please do not attempt to remove testing apparatus from the testing area. A replacement Aperture Science Weighted Storage Cube will be delivered shortly."
