This puzzle is all about momentum, but it starts with a fairly tame obstacle: getting onto the platform.

How do I do that?

There's an orange portal above your head.

How does that help me?

If you crawled through a blue portal at a snail's pace, you wouldn't have the forward momentum necessary to reach the platform.

What if you were not a snail?

Help me out.

Jump or run through a blue portal. Your forward momentum will get you onto the platform.
