This chamber can be broken in several ways - and you can even break it twice in one run!

How do I break the puzzle?

As mentioned previously, there are three unique 'puzzle breaks' that yield unique dialogue. They involve:
\
  1. Putting both cubes in the starting room (but not on the button), then placing both portals outside of it

2. Putting one (or both) cubes in the exit room, then placing both portals outside of it

3. Destroying both cubes with the emancipation grid, then placing both portals outside of it

How do I break the puzzle twice in one run?

You need to follow method 1, retrieve both cubes, then follow method 2 or 3.

Note that destroying one cube and then leaving another in an inaccessible spot will result in a softlock and force a restart.

What is the unique dialogue?

"Despite the best efforts of the Enrichment Center staff to ensure the safe performance of all authorized activities, you have managed to ensnare yourself permanently inside this room. A complimentary escape hatch will open in three... Two... One."
