The platform's moving, but will only get you into the room below the cube.

Is there anything there?

Two things - a standing button that activates a ramp, and some portal-friendly walls.

How does that help me?

The ramp is pointing right at the cube.

If you flew through it with enough momentum, you'd reach the cube.

How do I build momentum?

You can see quite a lot from the button room. For instance - a low-down platform on the right side of the room.

Hmm...

You've got everything you need to solve the puzzle, but here's one extra nudge - you can place a portal directly on the ramp when it's stopped moving.

Help me out.

Act fast! When the ramp's stopped moving, place an orange portal on it, and a blue one on the walls near the button.

Step through the blue portal, then quickly run to the side of the platform and place another blue portal on the low-down platform above the acid.

Jump through it, and if you were quick enough, you'll fly over to the cube and can send it to the other side of the room by putting it on the platform.
The cube's yours, but it seems you're locked inside this room.

The deactivated ramp is locking you in.
Leave the cube near the ramp, then activate it once again by pressing the standing button.

You'll then need to portal your way back across the room, grab the cube, and drop it onto the button in the next room.
