Fun Cheat Codes2 hints left
Now that you've beaten the game, it's time to get crazy! First things first - go into 'options', 'keyboard', and 'advanced'.

Click the 'enable developer console' checkbox, and when you're in game, you can press the ' ` ' key (the one below ESC) to open the developer console.

Here, you should type sv_cheats 1 to enable all the cheats listed in the following hints.

Spawning in weapons and objects

Copy and paste the following commands into the developer console.
impulse_101
  • Gives you a full arsenal of weapons from Half-Life 2

ent_create_portal_weight_box
  • spawns a cube

ent_create_portal_weight_box; ent_fire !picker skin 1
  • spawns a companion cube

ent_create npc_portal_turret_floor
  • spawns a turret

prop_dynamic_create props/cake/cake
  • spawns a cake

ent_create prop_glados_core coretype 0 spawnflags 1048904 cycle 1.00 playbackrate 1.00 sequence 2 delaybetweenlines 0.40
  • Spawns the yellow-eyed core.

ent_create prop_glados_core coretype 1 spawnflags 1048904 cycle 1.00 playbackrate 1.00 sequence 2 delaybetweenlines 0.40
  • Spawns the red-eyed core.

ent_create prop_glados_core coretype 2 spawnflags 1048904 cycle 1.00 playbackrate 1.00 sequence 2 delaybetweenlines 0.40
  • Spawns the blue-eyed core.

ent_create prop_glados_core coretype 3 spawnflags 1048904 cycle 1.00 playbackrate 1.00 sequence 2 delaybetweenlines 0.40
  • Spawns the purple-eyed core.

npc_create npc_zombie
  • Spawns a zombie from Half-Life 2

ch_createjeep / ch_createairboat
  • Spwans a jeep / airboat from Half-Life 2.

Godmode, Flying, Third Person Mode (& More!)

noclip
  • Lets you fly through walls.

god
  • God mode - makes you impossible to kill.

thirdperson / firstperson
  • Lets you play the game from a third person perspective or return it to first person.

notarget
  • Turrets won't shoot you.

fire_rocket_projectile / fire_energy_ball
  • Shoot a rocket or energy pellet!

ent_remove
  • Deletes the object you're looking at.

sv_portal_placement_never_fail 1
  • Lets you put portals on all surfaces.
