You're not in immediate danger anymore, but should keep moving all the same!

Keep moving? Moving where?

This is quite a tall room. Is there anything useful above you?

Hmm...

There's a bunch of broken pipes near the ceiling. There seems to be a whole room behind them.

The floor below you is portal-friendly, too.
Create a portal on the wall above your head, and another below your feet.

Make another portal on the ground before you land, drop through it, and you'll launch across to the other side of the room.
The sterile walls of the test chambers are gone, but that doesn't mean you can't create portals. Remember that as you explore the facility.
