What's going on here?

If you want to look around the room, look for a place to create a portal - just remember that, back here, portal-friendly surfaces can be quite dark.

Create a portal on the low-down platform on the other side of the fence, and another at the bottom of the 'elevator hole' to start exploring the room.

Just try not to get crushed.

Hmm...

There's some graffiti on the wall in the corner, but to reach it, you'll need to get on top of the horizontal piston.

How do I do that?

Look for a way to get higher up - and don't forget to use your portals!

How do I get higher up?

Hop on top of the vertical pistons!

How do I reach the horizontal piston?

While on top of the vertical pistons, create a portal on the top side of the low-down platform.

The only other portal-friendly surface in the room is under the platform, so make another portal underneath and crouch to pass through it.

The grate can't stop you!

Shoot a portal through it, then backtrack to pass through your other portal.

I'm stuck on a tube!

Look up - there's another corridor and some portal-friendly surfaces directly above you.
