Reaching the vent8 hints left
The glass was blocking a pretty inconsequential room. The only way out seems to be through a vent that's just out of reach.

What do I do?

Try to find a cube. The vent would be pretty easy to reach if you had one to stand on.

Hmm...

You won't find one lying around, but they're definitely nearby.

Where should I look?

Have a closer look at the tube near the vent; a cube flies through it every few seconds.

How does that help me?

If you smashed the tube, the cube would be yours.

The tube is made of glass.
Put a portal on the ground beneath the tube, then send a rocket through it. You can then stand on the cube and jump to get inside the vent.

You also could've grabbed one of the chairs from the previous room and used it to reach the vent.
A few seconds of crawling later, you'll find a fan blocking your progress.

Hmm...

What's below the fan? Anything useful?
Create a portal on the wall below the fan (the timing isn't very forgiving, but it's not impossible), then crawl back out of the vent and create another portal to step through.
