Don't worry, you didn't break it. You'll be tempted to do so after dealing with this finicky puzzle, though.

What do I need to do?

When combined, these shards create an image. You need to rotate and squeeze them all into the octagonal shape to complete the image.

Where does the first piece go?

The first piece - one that could affectionately be called a 'large, sharp L', should be placed against the left side of the canvas.

Where does the second piece go?

The second (and smallest) piece goes directly in the middle of the canvas.

Where does the third piece go?

The third (and largest) piece goes into the bottom-right corner of the canvas.

Where do the final pieces go?

Their shapes should be a dead giveaway. The fourth piece, a four-sided shape goes into the bottom-left, and final piece goes into the upper-middle.

Hooray!
