Have you explored Monkey Island?

Try to find a high perch.

You can see a desirable vista point from the banana tree.

Where are there mountains on Monkey Island?

They run through the center of the island.

Have you paid a visit to the river fork one map screen north of where you initially landed?

Remember, your goal is to get high off the ground.

The footholds can take you higher up.

Now there is another set of footholds. Once more, it's time to climb.

From this view, you can see your ship and the banana tree on the shore.

Now, how can you get the bananas down?

Think about how you got on Monkey Island in the first place.

You were launched.

Now if you could just launch something at the banana tree.

Did you examine the primitive art on the ledge between the two sets of footholds?

You should be able to hit a target from far away...
