The server room is well-guarded, and our friends aren't much use.
This is a secure alien base - if you got the attention of a high-ranking alien, they might set off a fire trap... or something equally useful.
There don't seem to be any on the base right now, but you might be able to get in contact with one via the conference room.
If the aliens are as scientific as they seem, they probably have a code written down to let headquarters know about their discoveries.
Check the various labs and their whiteboards.
Head to the geology lab - you'll find the code here, but need to get rid of the guard on the right first.
If you called Nick a chicken earlier, tell the guard to surrender. When he's standing out of cover, tell Nick to run back, and the problem will take care of itself.
If you didn't call Nick a chicken earlier, jump over to these hints.
Return to the conference room, and input the code '424' on the intercom.
Exhaust dialogue with the Admiral and you'll be rewarded for your troubles.
It's a grenade! Go throw it at the soldier in the server room!
If Vincent threw the grenade out of the room, you'll need to jump over to these hints.
The gas grenade has no gas, and is covered in alien spit now. Gross!
On the bright side, you now have a souvenir of that time you met a smelly alien. ?
Perhaps you should show your other alien friend.
Bring the grenade to Ralf, whose keen sense of smell will lead him directly to the server room.
With the room cleared, you can now 'use' the 'big thing' in the corner of the room.
This will interfere with the servers, so switching off the computer now will make it forget that the facility is supposed to be locked down.
Yanking out the cable on the far right side of the computer room should do it, but it's impossible to touch without some kind of protection.
