How do I get him to come inside?

-- Rosa has an uphill battle trying to be nice to Allen. In fact, if you choose the compassionate option here, he'll whine and snarl and go back out on the ledge. Joey now has to go out there and talk to him again, and this time he can't use the nice version of that path again. If Rosa is nice in all three areas, in fact, you won't have any option but to choose the heartless route.

Hint 3

It's time for something counterintuitive. Be cruel to be kind, as they used to say.

Hint 4

If Rosa chooses the nasty option (for example, if Allen think she's his wife, "You were right to leave him"), Joey will urge him to stand up for himself, and Allen will have a short satisfying epiphany.

Hint 5

The moment when he discovers that he doesn't have a second chance after all is still painful, but at least he's aware again. Time to move on, friends.
