Look for anything that can provide some direction when you're deep in the caves.

The big conspicuous drawing in the middle of the room doesn't provide much help - maybe the big conspicious dark grotto will be more helpful?
But it's... dark.
Yes, in its current form, it's not much use. If we found a way to light it up, though...
With what?
Fire is out of the question; we'll have to try something a bit more natural. Examine the cave thoroughly to see if there's any natural light emitters.
What am I looking for?
Remember the butterfly puzzle? Nuri said that the bugs glow when they're happy.
How does that help me?
In the upper-right corner of the cave, a butterfly is trapped inside of a jar.
It'd probably be quite pleased if we let it out.

Noodle arms strike again - thankfully, we don't need to be close to the jar to break it.
Use Geron's 'smashing' ability.
What now?
The butterfly is free, but aimlessly flapping about. You'll need to lure it over to the dark area.
How do I do that?
Well, we know what they like to eat - try laying some bait.

The flower we grabbed earlier - put it on the basin.
