.. What is there to find in the main room?

Abdullah, the main archaeologist on this dig, is just to your left as you enter the place. He's got a massive ego case going on, so try not to roll your eyes when you talk to him.

At the top of the scaffolding to the right of the exit and Abdullah, climb up to find some hieroglyphics you can translate.

How do I translate the hieroglyphics on the wall?

On the table in the middle of the room, across from the generator, you'll find a little shovel that will come in quite handy.

As you stand in the middle of the room facing the door to tunnel 2, look up to see a doorway high up above the pillars.

How do I get into the room I can see above the pillars?
