There are five icons here, all of which you'll use eventually.

The file folder at the left holds some notes Kate made. Read them all; the first page tells you that Kate's version of the poem "Jabberwocky" is important.

How do I follow up on the poem Ned sent?

The finger tapping a wire is for when you tap a computer.

How do I fix the picture I got from Ewan's computer?

The keyboard icon needs a password that you'll get near the end of the game.

How do I track down the Scientist?

The enhance icon comes into play after you tap into Ewan's computer; you'll get a photo that needs to be reassembled, and here's where you can do that.

The transmitting fly icon is for when you plant bugs on people and want to listen in.
