What do I do with these green plates with partial letters?

On the left as you enter, there's a cupboard full of blank pots and some notes from Niobe about pots. These notes are odd, and not helpful, but indicative of Niobe's state of mind.

At the end of the room, there's a small shelf with some finished pots on the lower shelf. There's also a trash can with a note you need to read. You can't take this note, so I'd take a picture of it -- you'll need those notes in red later on.

How do I get out the other way?

At the end of the room on the right, there's a small kiln for firing pots and an empty cupboard. Again, you'll be using them later.

How do I make pots?

At the end of the room on the left, there's a shelf full of stuff, but nothing you can interact with. After you follow Niobe, that will change.
