The way ahead is blocked by some glass and the fact you've got very short legs.

What do I do?

Search the room for a way to build momentum.

Hmm...

There's a checkboard pattern on the ground, and some slightly protruding platforms near the ceiling.
Shoot one portal onto the floor pattern, and the other onto the protruding platforms.

They should line up, but if not, shoot another portal beneath your feet as you fall to get across the room.
