Now that the turrets are dealt with, it's time to see where the energy pellet is actually supposed to go.

Where should I look?

On the left side of the room, you'll see a standing button on a small pillar. Pressing it opens the door to a nearby tower with an activation hole inside it.

Easy enough!

The door only stays open for a few seconds, and you need to be quite high-up to press it.

How do I press the button?

Create a portal on the platform right next to it, then walk through another portal and press E before you fall.

Where do I send the pellet?

The tower is directly opposite two protruding platforms on the left side of the room, near the cube.

You should see the orange glow after pressing the button.

Help me out.

The timing is tricky! Try getting ahead of the pellet by creating a portal on the crack it's going to hit next. That'll give you enough time to press the button as it's flying through the air.

Alternatively, you can attempt a tricky jump that will force the tower's door open permanently. More detail is in these hints.

Excellent! You can now ride the moving platform to reach the opposite side of the room.
